  • Severity assessment for Cephalopod procedures

  • Whole aquarium system welfare indicator – looking to assign a value to each type of system seen in public aquaria via observing and calculating  welfare indicators and environmental parameters, allowing assessment and long term monitoring
  • Book chapter – “Environmental enrichment, cognition and sentience in cephalopod molluscs” in “The Welfare of Invertebrate Animals.” due to be published in 2017 within the book series “Animal Welfare” (http://www.springer.com/series/5675). The series editor is Clive Phillips and the book editors are Prof Jennifer Mather and Dr Claudio Carere.
  • Nautilus Welfare MPhill co-supervisor in conjunction with SeaLife Brighton and the University of Sussex
